WOODSTOCK MANOR ROAD SP4417 (East side) Old Woodstock 7/117 Outbuildings, barn, cottage and attached wall approx. 5m E of Manor Farmhouse GV II Outbuildings and cottage. C17, remodelled in late C18/early C19. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roofs. U-plan enclosing yard. Late C18/early C19 cottage to front; of one-storey and attic; 3-window range with timber lintels over C20 door and windows; half-dormers and brick end stack. C20 rear extension adjoins rear left limestone rubble wall attached to late C18 one-storey outbuilding with through-passage; late C18 granary over loosebox to rear left, with half-hipped roof and plank loft door. Barn to rear right of house has gabled porch to right and is C17 with late C18 rebuilding to front bays; late C17 stable to rear right has flat stone arches over door and flanking windows. Interior: butt-purlin roofs. Barn has 6-bay collar-truss roof with ridge beam to C17 bays rear of threshing floor. Included for group value.
