House. C17 of coursed rubblestone with a steeply-pitched machine-tiled roof and
3 ridge stacks, 2 with moulded stone bases outer and all with brick caps.
The central stack is part ashlar and part rendered. The main block facing the
road has a projecting rear gabled staircase tower and later rear wing producing
an L-shaped plan. Two storeys. The roadside W front has 2 renewed 3-light
mullion windows with drips tones and one C17 4-light mullion window with a drip-
stone to the upper floor to left, has one renewed 3-light mullion to right.
N front facing the town centre has a 4 x 8 pane sash in the gable end, a 3-light
8-pane casement to the first floor and a canted sashed bay to the ground floor.
The rear, E front has one renewed 3-light mullion with dripstone and one C17
single light window in a moulded architrave to the upper floor and a 6-pane sash
and reeded panelled door with semi-circular fanlight and flat hood to the ground
floor. Staircase tower has a long 16-pane window to the upper floor and a 2-light
mullion with dripstone to the lower floor. C19 fenestration to rear wing.
