2. Circa 1720 of chequered brick with a gabled stone tiled roof and end brick stacks. E front of 2 storeys, a false attic and 5 bays. The central bay is flanked to the left and right by canted bays and there are lower 2 storey bays to each end, the whole resembling a piece of Georgian stage scenery. String courses at both floor levels. The attic is 'lit' by blind elliptical oculi painted black with white crosses to imitate fenestration. A segmental headed 6 pane sash window lights the central section above the door and there is a similar 4 pane sash above a round headed sash window to the N bay. The round headed window to the S bay is false. The canted bays have 8 pane sashes. Late C18 Tuscan Doric porch encloses a door frame with a moulded architrave and a pulvinated frieze above. Modern door with 2 rectangular panes. One storey C20 brick neo-Georgian range to the N with round headed windows and further irregular extensions both C19 and C20 to the rear. The interior is not of special interest.
