WOOLSTONE SU28NE 5/183 Waterfall Cottage
GV II
House. Late C16/early C17. Timber-framed in small square framing with diagonal bracing; thatched roof; brick stack. 2-unit plan. storey, 2- window range. Late C18 segmental head with carved soffit over 6-panelled (2 glazed) C19 door. Late C18 canted casements with segmental heads and 4 leaded lights to each caement. Half-hipped to right; brick end stack to left. Interior: retains chamfered and stopped beams, late C18 moulded architrave to fireplace; newel stairs opposite entry, original floorboards; 2-bay queen- post truss, clasped purlins. Right side has late C18 brick, weatherboard and tile lean-to with casement as above. C20 concrete block extension to rear.
