House. C16/early C18 main block. Coursed limestone rubble, limestone ashlar quoins and door dressings, brick window dressings; mid C19 plain tile and fish-scale tile roof; brick stacks. Double-depth plan. Early Georgian style. 2 storeys and attic; 4-bay range. Segmental pediment and moulded stone architrave to C20 French windows in original doorway. Gauged flat brick arches and architraves to all window openings: one blocked and 3 early C18 cross windows to left, 3 mid C18 to right. Raised and chamfered quoins; dentilled wood cornice. 2 gabled roof dormers, with early C20 casements. Hipped roof; ridge stack. Right side wall has similar 5-window range of mid C18 sashes and one mid C19 horned sash. To rear are mid C18 sashes and keyed flat stone arch over 6-panelled door with overlight adjoining reset C13 slit window. Interior not inspected but noted as having early C18 panelled rooms and early C18 staircase. Subsidiary features: to left of front is one storey and attic and 2-storey 3-window range of coursed limestone rubble, with stone slate and old tile roof, brick ridge stack, and C18 three-, 5- and 2-light leaded casements; rear wall rebuilt c.1870 in banded flared and red brick.
