Details

SUNNINGWELL SP4900 17/143 Church Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse. Early C18. Coursed and dressed limestone with brick quoins and dressings; gabled old tile roof; symmetrical brick end stacks. L-plan with rear right wing. 2 storeys and attic; symmetrical 3-window range. Segmental brick arch over mid/late C19 four-panelled door with overlight and C18 flat hood. Segmental brick arches, with alternating brick headers, over C19 three-light cross windows. Raised brick storey band. 2-storey rear right wing of similar materials with storey band. Stair-turret and late C18 brick and tile outshut adjoin mid/late C18 wing to rear left which is of Flemish bond brick with gabled old tile roof. Interior: stop-chamfered beams. Central passage has winder stairs to left and ribbed door to cellar. Attic has early C18 ribbed doors and collar-truss roof.
