ARDINGTON ARDINGTON WICK SU4BNW 7/3 Ardington Wick Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Mid C17 with C19 alterations and additions. Roughcast, probably on timber-framing; old plain-tile roof; brick ridge stack to left of centre, ridge stack to rear right. 2-storey, 2-window range with cross-wing to right. 8-panel door to right of centre with wood fluted Doric pilasters and open-pediment gabled hood on richly carved scroll brackets. Wood cross-windows to all openings, except 3-light casement to first floor of cross-wing and 2-light casement to first floor of cross-wing. Wood cornice to eaves. Gable-end of cross-wing tile-hung. Interior not inspected.
