Substantial house. Early/mid C18. Red brick with flared headers; coursed clunch rubble with brick dressings; old plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys plus attics. Symmetrical 5-window front, in Flemish bond with storey band and dentil eaves course, has central door, with flat canopy, and 12-pane sashes with architrave frames and gauged-brick flat arches; 2 small roof dormers. Sides and rear are of rubble with a stepped brick weathering to the plinth. Rear retains one leaded wood-framed cross window. Double-span roof. C20 rear extensions. Interior: C18 quarter-turn stair with turned balusters.
