C18 facade, but timber framing visible in passages at both sides of house. Nos.22 and 40 adjoin each other in street facade. Nos 18-22 and No 40 all under same, old tiled roof. Facade of silver grey brick with red brick dressings. 2 storeys and 3 gabled dormers. 4 sashes, including 1 blank, with flush moulded frames and glazing bars. Ground floor has 2 paired, C19 sashes, and central, 6 panelled door (middle 2 panels now glazed).
