BANBURY BRIDGE STREET SP4540NE (South side) 7/22 No.32 (Barclay's Bank) (Formerly listed as No.32) 07/10/69 GV II Item includes Nos.l and 2 Broad Street. Bank. Late C19. Ironstone ashlar. Hipped tile roof. Stone end stack. 2 storeys; 6-window range. Main front facing Bridge Street: 2 sashes to left have glazing bars and keystoned voussoirs. 3 tall bow windows have pilaster surrounds and glazing bars. Sash window to right has keystoned voussoirs and glazing bars. First floor has 6 sashes with similar detail to ground floor windows. One sash has a stone surround, scrolled pediment and small iron balcony. All windows have stone sills. Moulded band at first floor. Moulded, chamfered cornice below. Panelled parapet with balustrade above pedimented sash. Rusticated quoins. Entrance in Broad Street. Interior not inspected. Prominent corner site at junction of Broad Street and Bridge Street.
