Inn, now house and shops. Mid C17. One build. Roughcast. Stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses. Brick ridge stack. 2 storeys plus attic. 3-window range. C20 shop front to left. Carriageway entrance to Unicorn Hotel to right has moulded, stop chamfered jambs and panelled doors and is dated 1648 on spandrels. First floor has 3 bow windows with renewed casements. 3 gable-front dormers have renewed 3-light casements, renewed bargeboards and pendants. Deeply projected eaves. Moulded beam with pendants, extends full length of attic floor. Courtyard to rear. Interior: first floor has C17 stone fireplace, fragment of C17 block printed wall paper on beam, 4-light wood mullioned window with original glazing.
