BANBURY PARSON'S STREET SP4540NE (North side) 7/155 No.51 (Banbury Bags and 07/10/69 Baggage) and No.52 (Philippa Kendall) (Formerly listed as No.51 and No.52) GV II
2 shops. C17 refronted early C19. Red brick and timber frame. Shallow pitched slate roof. Brick lateral stack to rear. 3 storeys; 4-window range. C20 shop front to ground floor. Two 4-pane wide sashes and two 3-pane wide sashes to first floor. Keystoned voussoirs. Four similar smaller windows to second floor. Pargetting to rear of No.52. Fleur de lys and heart shaped patterns. No.52 is reputed to have a jettied first floor, now obscured, and to have been built as a pair of double-fronted offices with accommodation above. Interior not inspected. (V.C.H.: Oxfordshire, Vol.X, p.39).
