Farmhouse. Early to mid C18. Regular coursed ironstone rubble. Steeply pitched
thatched roof. 4 brick end and ridge stacks. Stone coped gables and moulded
kneelers. 4-unit plan probably 2 units extended to 4 units. 2 storeys. 3-window
range. 2 entrances have panelled doors and surrounds with keyblock heads. Hood
on right, C20 porch on left. Ground floor has single and 3-light wood casements
with stone lintels. First floor has three C20 windows in original 2- and 3-light
openings with keyblock heads on stone lintels. Large bread oven projection on
right end. Outbuilding range attached on left (not included) had roof lowered
leaving a gable shaped opening in roof of farmhouse to left, which is now
blocked. Interior. Chamfered beams, fireplaces with bressumers were fronted
c.1900. Bacon curing chamber. Cellar with stone flag floor and worn stone steps.
