SP4631 DEDDINGTON CHURCH STREET (North side) 8/157 Churchill memorial approx. 3m S of south aisle of Church of St. Peter and St. Paul
GV II Chest tomb. Mid C18. Marlstone. Rectangular chest, with molded base and cover, has fielded panelled sides and recessed fluted baluster corners. Inscriptions commemorate Bartholomew Churchill (d. 1735 or 1755) and other members of that family. An unusually elaborate version of a common type.
