6/122 Robinson gravestone 3m. south of the Church of St. Mary and St. Patrick GV II
Headstone dated 1729. Sandstone. Stone with semi-circular head; on east face inscription to Elizabeth, wife to John Robinson of Knopesfold in the parish of Lanercost, reverse face has coat of arms with 3 stags, flanked by palm trees with stylised angel above and semi-circular pediment carried on pilasters. The rounded margin of the stone bears a further inscription partly obscured by lichen.
