NU 21 NW LONGHOUGHTON LITTLEHOUGHTON
5/143 Stable to north- east of Littlehoughton Hall GV II
Stable range, probably early C19 but incorporating older fabric. North wall roughly-coursed rubble with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings; south wall snecked rubble except for large squared stonework towards west end. Welsh slate roof. North side single storey, 3 wide bays. Near-centre boarded double door flanked by part-slatted windows; left stable door and near right end 3 small casements in alternating-block surrounds. Left return shows boarded double doors in alternating-block surround. Rear elevation shows older masonry near left end, near-centre boarded door with paired 6-pane casements on left, and slit vents to right.
