Details
CANONGATE 1. 5330 (East Side) Retaining wall to Churchyard NU 1813 NW 3/198 II 2. The wall starts from the Churchyard gates about 6ft high and gets progressively higher as the road descends. Rough ashlar and rubble over the 1st 40-50yds. The next stretch about 12ft high is ashlar with capped wall buttresses. Thereafter terraced and slightly curved.
