LITTLE HARROWDEN MAIN STREET SP87SE (North side) 2/235 Little Harrowden House and 02/08/72 attached barn (Formerly listed as Little Harrowden House. Outbuilding adjoining Little Harrowden House)

House. Mid C18, altered late C19. Regular coursed ironstone with ashlar facade and slate and plain-tile roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. Originally 4-window range, now 3-window range of late C19 four-light stone mullion windows with transoms set in C18 openings with flat arches and keyblocks. Part-glazed door to left of centre under flat arch head with keyblock and C20 hood. Moulded stone cornice and ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. 2 flat topped roof dormers. Brick and stone stacks at ends. C18 barn attached to right of main front now forms part of the house and has three C19 casements and an ashlar gable parapet to the right. Late C19 extensions to rear. Interior not inspected.
