NEW MILLS MOUSLEY BOTTOM 1. 5172 The Cruck Barn SJ 98 NE 2/17 10.4.75. II 2. Possibly mediaeval 5-bay stone rubble barn with curved cruck trusses. Stone slate roof, partly replaced on 1 slope by corrugated roofing material. Part of roof of 5 bays damaged by fire. 4 sets of cruck blades with many original purlins and spars. Possibly originally timber framed all over, some evidence in that section of the wall covered by the most northerly of 2 penticed extensions on the East elevation.
