TADMARTON MAIN STREET SP33NE (South side) 2/105 Wise's Cottages 08/12/55 GV II Row of 3 cottages. C17. Coursed ironstone rubble with thatched roof. 4 brick stacks at ends and on ridge. Ironstone quoins. 2 single-unit cottages at ends and 2-unit central cottage. Single storey plus attic. 2-and 3-light casements under wooden lintels on ground floor. Middle cottage has a 3-light stone mullioned window with hood mould and label stops. Swept dormers with 2-light casements to attic. Rear elevation has 3 entrances with wood lintels and swept dormers with 2-light casements. Interior: chamfered beams, bressumers over fireplaces and plank doors.
