Details
WEEKLEY SP8880 WEEKLEY 1337-0/15/335 No.38 Post Office GV II Cottage, incorporating post office. C18 with rear wing of C19 coursed limestone rubble with brick right gable end, thatched roof and brick end stacks. One storey and attic. Central plain board door flanked by a 3-light and a 2-light small-paned casement window beneath a single timber lintel. Thatch lifted over 2 2-light small-paned iron-framed gudgeon-hung casement windows to form wide eyebrow. Round wall-tie ends. C19 wing to rear and small vertically-boarded slate-roofed addition to right. Slate-roofed lean- to addition embraced in angle of main block and rear wing. Interior: ground floor right-hand room has chamfered cross beam with run-out "stops".
