House, late C17, reroofed in C19, with some older timbers. Timber frame, plastered, with roof
ofpantile. Late C19 or C20 extension to rear. 1½ storey, two-cell, lobby entry house; chimney
stack bay to rear. Entrance porch of C19 date to main elevation; second entrance on right
return. Brick plinth on all sides of original structure. Braced comer uprights with much original
studding and brick infill. Posts jowled to tie beams and to chimney stack bay at rear. Axial beam
and joists of C17 date to left-hand cell. Floor to right-hand cell of C19 date. Studding to right
gable end. Cambered bressummer lintels to fireplace heating each cell.
