Smee Farm House.

G.V. II

Farmhouse, early C18 and later, of brick and thatch. 2 storeys with continuous
rear 1 storey outshut and lean-to to west. Lobby entrance plan. Facade,
4 windows with flint plinth and former corbelled brick eaves forming plat
band at approximately first floor level. Off centre entrance door with fan-
light and segmental brick arch. 3-light C19 casements at 1st floor level.
2-light casement above door. C19 3-light casement with transom at west end,
ground floor level. Other windows C20 casements with transoms. West gable
raised showing line of earlier roof and its brick kneeler. Later extension
to east has inserted C20 windows and blocked opening. Eyebrow dormer at rear.
Capped chimney stack to west. Off centre axial stack. Interior mainly C20.
