House, divided into 3 cottages in late C18. Early C17. Timber-framed and brick. Red and glazed black pantiles. 3-cell plan, with C18 partitions and stairs. Late C18 brick facade of 5 bays, 2 storeys and attics. 3-light casements under rubbed brick arches. Doorcases with pilasters and plain cornices to second and fourth bays; doors of 6 panels with overlight having one vertical glazing bar; panelled reveals. Doorways flanked by brick pilasters rising to eaves; paired pilasters at corners. C20 doorway and window to right hand bay under C18 brick arch. 5 casements to first floor, those over doors of 2 lights. Sawtooth dentil eaves cornice. 3 attic case- ments, 2 with leaded lights, one of C20. Gable-end stack and massive off- centre axial stack. Left hand gable wall of early C17 brick in English bond; platband. 2 attic lights with chamfered reveals; some crow-stepping to rear gable. Right hand gable wall faced with brick to eaves. 2 storey brick range to rear dated BW 1781. Interior. Some framing revealed. Ovolo moulding with bar-stops to transverse beams of ground and first floor rooms of left hand house. Brick fireplace to ground floor with 4-centred arch and moulded reveal. Geometrical plaster ceiling. Centre house has painted masonry fireplace to upper floor with 4-centred arch having chamfer with bar-stops. Arched braces between stud and wall plate. Roofs of all three houses with butt-purlins, curved wind braces and cambered tie-beams.
