G.V. II

House and shop. Late C17 and C18. Two storeys with attics. Colourwashed brickwork with red and black pantiles. House with 4 sash windows, with moulded timber archi- traves and flat, gauged brick arches. Shouldered timber doorcase with 6 panelled part glazed door. Moulded brick stringcourse, moulded timber eaves cornice. Tumbling-in on right-hand gable with gable chimeystacks. C19 shop front to right, with large glazing bars and half glazed door. Full-height brick pilasters and triple brick, dentil eaves. Tumbling-in on left-hand gable. Right-hand gable part timber framed and rendered with barge board. Left-hand corner splayed, and corbelled out to angle above. Two sash windows with glazing bars and moulded timber architraves. House internally has C17 floor joists, stopped and chamfered. Double roof with butt purlins. Evidence of collars and wind bracing. Shop roof similar.
