ROLLESBY FLEGGBURGH ROAD TG 41 NW (east side) 4/44 The Grange
- II
House. Circa 1770. Brick with roof of black glazed pantiles. Double pile plan. West front of 2 storeys in 5 bays. Central panelled door in panelled reveals. Fluted engaged columns support hood. Sash windows have glazing bars, sills and gauged skewback arches-. Modillion timber eaves cornice below gabled roof. C19 extension to north. Rear of house well illustrates the usual greater paucity of treatment. 2 storeys and dormer attic. Central early C20 half glazed door under flat hood. 2 stepped buttresses to left. Fenestration of 3-light casements under segmental arches of C18 date except central first floor window which is C20. Flat-topped C20 dormer inserted in roof. Twin stacks sit in valley between gabled roofs.
