House. Probably C16 with early C17 wing and C20 extension and alterations. Timber-framed with colour-washed rendered walls and C20 concrete-tile roof with brick ridge stack. 2-bay hall range with west wing and eastern extension to road. 2 storeys with attic to wing, gable facing. Entrance to right side in lean-to porch; various C20 casements. Similar casements and French windows to other elevations with single-storey projection to left side.
INTERIOR: timber-framing survives in hall range and parlour wing, the former has jowled posts and heavy joists and open fireplaces in massive brick stack with winder stair set into curved end. Wing ground floor room has chamfered beam with ogee stops and similar joists, upper floor plain joists. Roof mainly renewed C19 and C20.
