KIRBY CANE YARMOUTH ROAD TM 39 SE 7/84 Elva House 10-8-84 - II
House, early C18. Colourwashed brick with black pantile roof. Two storeys and attics with rear single storey outshut. Six bays: mullioned and transomed casement windows with wrought iron lights; flat rubbed brick arches over openings. Blocked window openings at ground and first floor levels. Off-centre 4-panel door with fanlight and C20 lean-to porch. Brick plinth. String course at first floor level on facade and at attic level on gables. Coved plaster eaves. Moulded brick kneelers to gable parapets. Two C19 gabled dormers with wrought iron casements. C19 chimney on rear wall. Consent granted 1985 for demolition in connection-with proposed Kirby Cane bypass.
