Farmhouse, C17 and C18. Red brick, partly colourwashed; earlier wing timber framed and refaced. Steeply-pitched roof of black-glazed pantiles. Two storeys and attics, T-shaped plan. Red brick south facade symmetrical of 5 bays: sashes with glazing bars under rubbed brick arches. Central doorway with six panelled door and rectangular fanlight with decorative glazing bars. Doorcase with fluted pilasters and Doric entablature. Wooden modillion eaves cornice. Parapeted gables with internal chimney stacks. Two sashes with glazing bars in east gable. West gable has C20 glazed door in segmental headed opening and 2-light first floor casement. Earlier wing to north: east facade has two ground floor and two first floor 3-light casements with glazing bars and segmental heads. Rubbed brick arches over ground floor openings. Central doorway with six-panelled door and plain pilastered doorcase. Two segmental headed lead-roofed dormers with 2-light casements. Central ridge. stack with plain plaque in base. North gable rendered and colourwashed. Catslide extension at north-west corner with gabled dormer, ground floor casement and doorway, all C20.
