LUDHAM HALL ROAD TG 31 NE 8/69 Barn loom east of Ludham Hall

G.V. II

Barn. Early C18. Brick and roof of corrugated asbestos. 9 bays divided by stepped buttresses, diagonal to corners. 2 additional late C18 buttresses to south gable. Platband at mid line. 2 double doors, that to south full height. 2 further pedestrian doors. Each bay with 2 square honeycomb panels above and below platband, 2 of which now opened as windows. 3 C20 windows to north interrupt platband. Hipped roof. Rear partly rebuilt. Interior divided by brick walls. Roof of tie beams, principals, 2 tiers through purlins and collars. Many timbers replaced and altered.
