9/50 Green Farm House with attached barn
GV II
Farmhouse, C17, coursed flint with evenly spaced bricks to some courses, brick dressings and pantiles. 3 bays, 2 storeys with attached former dairy to left of 1½ storeys now converted and incorporated into house; attached barn to right. Gable parapets, dentil cornice, large axial stack between bays 2 and 3, axial stack between bay 1 and left conversion; doorway under segmental arch between bays 1 and 2; blocked square window to middle of chimney bay. Three 3-light casement windows with transoms to each floor, these to ground floor under segmental heads. Late C20 fenestration and dormers to 2-bay former dairy, single storeyed C19 forward addition in flint and brick across bay 1 and part of dairy. Rear: stone quoins to ground floor at left; glazed door under semi-circular arch to 2nd bay with small 2-light brick mullioned window to right; sash with glazing bars 4 x 4 panes to ground floor of first bay; 2-light casement to third bay; 4 steel framed windows to first floor. Interior: bar stopped chamfered beams to central bay; ovolo moulded beams and reeded window surrounds to right bay; C16 moulded beam in former dairy.
