TG 02 NE THURNING REEPHAM ROAD (east) 7/95 Thurning Hall Stables.

Detached stable block to Thurning Hall. Late C18. Red brick, black glazed pantiles. Double pile plan of 2 storeys, with court to north. To south 6 bay 2 storey front pile with 2 central bays broken forward. East and west outer 2 bays, ground floor one thermal window, to west boarded door with fan- light with glazing bars, at east one window, door with simple glazed segmental over door, first floor 2 thermal windows with inserted boarding or missing window frame, but to east one surviving as fanlight. Central bays with 2 first floor thermal windows with glazing bars, all openings under rubbed brick arches. Pediment gable, 2 ground floor segmental arches to doors. Hipped roof with 2 ridge stacks. Court to north with lower wings, curved wall with central gate piers and gates.
