SWANTON ABBOTT LONG COMMON LANE TG 22 NE 4/30 Old Manor Farm House 9:9:81 (formerly listed as Old Manor Farm) - II

House. C17 and later. Brick, pantile roof. L plan. 2 storeys; front of 5 bays, left hand 2 bays within gabled crosswing. Central 2 storey porch with shaped gable and moulded brick platbands between storeys mostly C19 but some earlier brickwork to ground floor; C19 door with C19 casement over. To right of door 2 bays with C19 casements those on ground floor under rubbed brick flat arches. Moulded brick platband. Right hand shaped gable with rendered plinth, platband between second and attic storeys; blocked opening to attic. To left of porch earlier 2 bay gabled wing, bricks laid 2 rows stretcher, one row header. C19 casements with projecting brick jambs under much repaired brick triangular pediments. Brick quoins to left and just visible beside porch. Left hand return of 4 bays, flat stepped hood mould to doorway to third bay, raised brick jambs. Sash windows with glazing bars to fourth bay, rest of openings blocked, all having raised brick jambs; platband. Brick quoins.
