Country House now offices, c1840, renovated and refurbished in mid C20. Rendered with rusticated quoins; hipped slate roofs with overhanging eaves; rendered stacks. Asymetrical Italianate style. 2 storey main house to left, slightly lower 2 storey service wing in centre; 4 staged turret to right. Main House: 4 windows; plate glass sashes with raised surrounds and bracketed sills; first floor window to left flanked by rusticated pilaster strips, ground floor angled bay to left; central porch with balustraded parapet and entrance flanked by Tuscan pilasters. Service Wing: 6 windows; glazing bar sashes, those on first floor with sill band. Turret: stages marked by bands; banded rusti- cation and glazing bar sash to first stage; double round headed window with bracketed sill to 3rd stage; clock to 4th stage. C20 office extension to right in a similar style.
