ECCLESHALL CROXTON 1. 5373 Barn at Whittington Farm, in Farmyard SJ 73 SE 8/107
II GV 2. Barn. C17. Timber frame, with board cladding set into grooves cut insides of panel posts on front and rear walls. West gable rebuilt in brick boarded framing in gable above. Tiled roof. 3 main structural bays, each sub-divided into 2 panels by a post. Each truss has an angle braced tie beam, a collar supported off the beam by 4 vertical struts and V struts off the collar to principal rafters. A cross frame under the east truss with large tension braces and a central post off cill beam. Wind braced purlins. Opposing wagon doorways in east panels of central structural bay. Panel framing with 2 studs and tension braces.
