9/23 Hall Farmhouse (Previously listed as The Hall) 1.2.67. II* - Farmhouse. Dated 1587 I.H. . Coursed rubble with ashlar quoins, dressings and facing to porch; stone slate roofs with coped verges on kneelers; ashlar integral end stacks. Main range and crosswing form an L-shape plan; porch and service wing project respectively to front and rear of main range. 2 storeys; gable end of wing to left with integral chimney of 3 diagonal shafts; a narrow bay to left of centre; central projecting 2-storey gabled porch capped by a ball finial; single bay to right; chamfered mullioned windows, that to porch has 3 lights, ground floor right 3 lights, first floor right 4 lights, that to left of porch has 2 lights; porch has a first floor offset with vase carved at both corners and flat hood moulds over first floor window datestone above;; central doorway with cambered lintel. Interior not inspected.
