Farmhouse. C18 rebuild of C17 house with early C19 additions. Red brick; tiled roof; verge parapets to left end, ridge stacks set-in from ends (larger to left). T-shaped plan; long, low, two-storey front of three windows and set on C17 chamfered sandstone plinth; three-light casements; the left-hand pair of windows in two ranges have gabled brick segmental heads to the ground floor; similar head to main entrance set centrally between windows; left-hand bay has double doors to dairy and loft door over; right-hand half of building just distinguishable (straight joint) as early C19 addition with single range of windows (ground floor with segmental head) to left end; stable door set to centre of remainder. Left hand gable has stone steps ascending to first floor loft door. Interior: C17 chamfered beams to dairy and house; plaster floors on first floor of C18 part. The C17 plinth is continuous, presumably the present house was a progressive replacement of a decaying timber frame.
