Large house, now divided into two units. Late C18 with mid C19 alterations and additions. Red brick; tiled roof, front roofs have eaves band and stone coped verge parapets on corbelled kneelers; end stacks. Complex H-shaped plan, the front is a double parallel range connected by a link block to an L-shaped unit fronting Uttoxeter Road. Front of two storeys and dormer lit attic, in two parts: taller to left part, the entire frontage of which is taken up by a semi-circular bay with conical lean-to roof; two ranges of glazing bar sashes with gauged brick heads; lower, longer right-hand part has two ranges of windows, all glazing bar sashes: hipped dormers to attic, gauged brick heads to first floor and tripartite with elliptical heads to ground floor. The entrance is set into the left hand gable end. The wing facing the road has segmental-headed casements and two projecting C19 wings.
