BIDDULPH C.P. OVERTON ROAD (west side) SJ 86 SE 3/39 Barn approximately 15m - north-west of Higher Overton Farmhouse
GV II
Barn. C18 and mid-C19 with later alterations. Coursed stone; blue machine tile roof; verge parapet to east side. 'L'-shaped of 2 ranges of different dates both of 2 levels with hay loft over byres. C18 range to west with 2 widely-spaced dressed circular pitching eyes over 4 top- hung C20 casements, full-height cart opening to right end against return. Catslide to rear with gable access. East range has slightly lower ridge height, one hay loft door to left and and 4 top-hung casements, 3 being set to left side and right-hand window being set in former door opening; central boarded door and further blocked door to right of large opening remodelled as store at extreme right-hand end. Quoins to left of central window of left half of east wing denote end of C18 block.
