GV II
Row of houses and shops with accommodation above. Probably early and mid C19. Painted roughcast with painted stone dressings and artificial slate roof. 2 storeys. The windows are sashed with plain stone surrounds and projecting sills. No.15, at the left, has a window on each floor, and a door to the right with plain stone surround. No.17 is of 3 bays and has paired doorways in the central bay with plain stone surrounds. To their left is a 6-pane sashed window. To the right is a shop window with a timber entablature and scrolled timber brackets. No.19 is of one bay and has a similar shop window on the ground floor, with a doorway to the right. No.19A has a 6-pane sashed window on the ground floor and a doorway to the left. The front wall of Nos 19 & 19A is slightly battered and suggests that the building may have earlier remains. Chimneys to right of No.15, between Nos 17 & 19, and at the right.
