Cemetery chapels. Mid C19. Coursed squared gritstone, slate roof (diminishing courses). Neo-Norman style. Single building, 6 bays. Paired entrances in short gabled porch projecting on the E side: double board doors, Norman-style arches, paired attached columns, in chamfered projection with stepped hoodmould, high coped gable above with round window, corner buttresses, left and right return have 4-light round arched window and corbel table above. The chapels have round-headed windows with attached columns, pilasters between break line of sill moulding and corbel table, wide gable coping, gabled bellcote at each end. The N and S ends have round-arched doorway as main entrance. Set centrally against the W wall and directly opposite the cemetery gateway is a memorial stone to Charles Grosvenor of Hunslet, d.1867, pink and grey polished granite, cusped arch with paired attached columns, gabled top with monogram, 'CG' and '1870', heraldic dog at apex. INTERIOR: the southern chapel and entrance re-ordered and dividing wall removed; northern end not inspected.
