Coastguard station look-out tower. Circa 1886, for the Admiralty Coastguards. Red brick in Flemished bond, with Portland stone dressings. Welsh slate roof with Portland stone coping and corbelled kneelers to gable ends.
Square on plan tower with external stairs to look-out on east side; integral yard walls on north and east sides.
2 storeys. North side has plank door with flat brick arch to store on ground floor. East side has external stairs to look-out, brick with stone treads and simple wrought-iron balustrade; C20 porch at top of stairs. First floor look-out windows on south and west sides with plate glass. Integral yard walls with curved profiles ramped up on north and east sides.
