Row of 3 suburban villas. Mid C19. Flemish bond brown brick
with pale headers; hipped grey slate roof.
2 storeys; double-fronted, Nos 15 and 17 facing Hamilton
Street, No.13 facing right. Simple plinth; doors of 4 fielded
panels, upper panels to No.15 now glazed, in simple stone
cases; recessed sashes with shaped stone sills and gauged
brick flat arches; No.17, left, has a 12-pane sash to each
side of entrance; No.13 has an inserted Edwardian canted bay
window, leaded above the transom. The first floor has three
12-pane sashes; moulded stringcourse; 3-course parapet with
moulded cornice; 2 ridge chimneys and one on side of No.17,
left. The right side, the front to No.13, is detailed as to
Hamilton Street : a 12-pane sash, door in case and two 12-pane
sashes to ground floor and four 12-pane sashes to first floor.
