Dry dock, extended for ship repair. c1820, extended c1875. Ashlar with concrete repair. Long battered breakwater wall extends along the west side of the river Hull. Topped with later brick wall. Dock has pointed end to north and ashlar stepped sides with some concrete patching. C20 iron gates to south entrance. This dock was built for Gleadow's Shipyard and used for the construction of new wooden boats. It was later extended for the repair of larger iron ships.
