SJ 36 NE CHESTER CITY (EM) LlVERPOOL ROAD (East side) 1932-1/1/222 Milepost 30 metres south of 23.7.1998 junction with Ormonde Road II
Milepost. c1900. Cast-iron. Plinthed tapered octagonal post bearing shaped cast-iron plate inscribed in raised capitals "CHESTER CROSS: 1 MILE". Similar posts were erected by Chester City Council on other main access roads to Chester.
