Pair of town houses expressed as one house. c1800. Flemish bond red brick; grey slate roof. 3 storeys; 5 windows. 4-panel door with simple overlight in Roman Doric case of painted stone. 3-storey brick bow to each side of entrance with 2 recessed sashes per floor in each storey, of 12 panes to ground and first floors and 6-panes to second floor; a 12-pane recessed sash to first floor above the entrance, and a 6-pane sash to second floor; first-floor sillband; painted stone sills to second-floor windows; wedge lintels to ground and first-floor windows; frieze and eaves cornice immediately above second floor windows; roofs curving forward above bows; the main roof is hipped; 2 symmetrically-placed brick chimneys. A Roman Doric pilaster porch on right side, in front of a narrow yard, to No.13 looks like an afterthought, though consistent in character. INTERIOR not inspected.
