House. Built in 1935, J E Maynard ARIBA architect, R A Larkin and C Baker Builders. International Modern Movement style of brick, rendered with flat roof. Two storeys and roof sun room to take advantage of sea views. Sun room has almost full length glazing facing the sea. Front elevation has four metal-framed casements to first floor and two doors and two windows to ground floor. Metal railing to roof. First floor balcony to three first floor windows on plain concrete columns with glazed porch. Left side recessed garage with horizontally-glazed doors. Rear elevation has four windows and French windows with sidelights to garden. Interior has original solid balustrade staircase, flush doors, an original electric fitting and original kitchen cabinets. (Not seen). Light fittings and other electric fires not original but replaced in style.
