Town house, now office. Mid to late C18, altered. Flemish bond brown brick; grey slate roof. 3 principal storeys and attic storey. Painted sandstone plinth; replaced glazed door to east in altered opening, approached by 3 stone steps; modern shopfront; 2 flush sashes to second and third storeys, now of 4 panes, have painted stone sills and wedge lintels with false keystone; moulded cornice of painted stone. The attic, of brickwork undistinguishable from the lower storeys, has 2 altered window openings, that to right with inserted 4-pane fixed light and that to left filled with glass bricks; chimney at left gable. The rear wing has been removed and a large garage of concrete blocks and asbestos inserted; an altered flush sash to the second storey and one of 12 panes to the third storey are visible; the attic storey window is bricked up. INTERIOR: no internal features of special interest are visible.
