Town house. c1790 of one build with No.98 Street (qv). Brown Flemish bond brickwork with grey slate roof. 3 storeys. Painted stone plinth with opening to cellar; 4 stone steps to door, east, of 6 bolection-moulded fielded panels in doorcase with pediment on console brackets; 2 recessed sashes to each storey, of 12 panes to first and second storeys and 9 panes to third storey; painted stone sills and wedge lintels with reeded false keystones; the second storey stone band, carried through from No.98, is one brick course higher than the sills; moulded cornice; 2 west chimneys. The rear has a small one-storey lean-to outshut, east, a tall flush sash window of 27 panes to the stair, east, and a flush 12-pane sash to second and third storeys with stone sills; all except to third storey have cambered brick heads. A somewhat later west rear wing has a recessed 12-pane sash to each upper storey, with painted stone sills and wedge lintels. INTERIOR could not be inspected.
