Terrace of 4 houses, early C19. Yellow brick with low pitched slate roof behind coped parapet. Each 3 storeys, 2 bays (3 openings on ground floor) except No.18 which is 3 bays. No.17: 1-storey entrance extension to right. Round-arched ground-floor openings, those to Nos 19 & 20 with stucco band at spring, original doors with fluted Tuscan 1/4 columns, mutule cornice heads and plain fanlights. Doors to Nos 17 & 18 original with plain timber reveals, plain fanlights and cornice heads. Flat, gauged-brick arches to 1st- and 2nd-floor windows; all windows sashes with glazing bars. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: area railings.
